Although 2007 Bob Dylan biopic, I’m Not There (which Moverman co-wrote with director Todd Haynes), took artistic license with its portrayal of its subject, the Cobain film will be more mainstream in style.

Moverman explained to The Guardian that, “It’ll take you from A to Z. People know the shortcut version – he took a lot of heroin, wrote ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit,’ became the biggest rock star in the world and killed himself. Those known things about him are to me the least interesting.”

Paramount Pictures and MTV Films have revealed that actor Colin Farrell will portray the role of Black Sabbath’s Ozzy Osbourne in a biography film about the Prince of Darkness.

The 34-year-old Dublin actor, Colin Farrell, has landed the coveted role of Ozzy. Inside sources are saying that Colin and Ozzy have a similar lifestyle so it was a perfect casting

Tyler himself feels that playing live “rekindles the fire for song writing” and that new material is “coming down the pike.”

Perry and Tyler have already started the process and the guitarist adds: “The bottom line is we haven’t done our best record yet, and we feel like first of all we owe it to ourselves, and second of all we owe it to our fans.”

The Black Sabbath star is baffled he has managed to survive to the age of 61 and is convinced doctors and scientists would benefit from dissecting and studying his body after he dies.

He says, “By all accounts, I’m a medical miracle. When I die, I should donate my body to the Natural History Museum. It’s all very well going on a bender for a couple of days but mine went on for 40 years. At one point, I was knocking back four bottles of cognac a day, blacking out, coming to again and carrying on.”

The Dreamer hit-maker has struggled with an addiction to alcohol and prescription drugs, and was hospitalized with severe injuries after he was involved in a quad bike accident in 2003.

However, he admits he has always had concerns about his health: “I happen to be the world’s worst hypochondriac. I will catch a disease off the telly (TV). Being ill is like a hobby. I’ve even started to diagnose my own diseases, thanks to Google.”

He recently sat down to talk about the process, and revealed he’s not only doing a duet with one of our faves, Rilo Kiley’s Jenny Lewis, but also collaborating with producers Stuart Price – who’s worked with Madonna and Kylie Minogue – Daniel Lanois (who’s worked with Bob Dylan and U2) and Brendan O’Brien (Bruce Springsteen and Neil Young).

Flowers says:
“It’s a pretty good line-up, I think. Stuart and Daniel have been working together, and I’ve done another three tracks with Brendan on his own. Jenny’s helped me out on a couple of songs, and we also get to duet on the record, on a song called Hard Enough, which turned out great. She’s always popped into my mind whenever I think about getting a female vocalist involved because she’s a fellow child of Las Vegas, too. It’s all very rooted right here in Las Vegas dirt.”
Wow! He has quite the variety of musical aesthetics working at once!
We can only imagine what the final product is going to sound like!

Earlier this week, Rose filed a $5 million dollar countersuit against Azoff, claiming the industry honcho was “devising a secret plan to set up Rose and the band for failure so that Rose would have no choice but to reunite with the original Guns N’ Roses’ members,” a move the dreadlocked singer staunchly opposes.

Rose’s suit also fires back at Azoff for allegedly abandoning his manager duties on the eve of a major tour, and for filing a lawsuit in March seeking $1.8 million in commissions from the band’s run of tour dates through Asia, Canada, and South America in support of their 2008 comeback album Chinese Democracy.

But Slash doesn’t buy it. “I don’t know where Axl is coming from”

Slash firmly supports Azoff.

“I know where Irving is coming from — he’s looking for commissions for a tour that he booked,” the top-hat-sporting rocker added. “[It's a] pretty reasonable kind of thing. Axl’s countersuing, so I’m not sure exactly what the merit is that he’s countersuing, exactly.”

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Rose claims that Irving — whose Front Line Management was recently acquired by Ticketmaster — has gained too much power in the music industry, which he uses to punish artists and harm their careers if they don’t follow his orders. Adding to Rose’s anger: Azoff filed his suit against William Bailey, the singer’s real name — something that “carries significant emotional damage from Rose’s childhood.”
