This weekend was an exciting weekend on the VI.  For those who weren’t running on Saturday, masses were drinking over at Woody’s since 7AM, cheering on their friends in the race and indulging in blackened chicken sandwiches with onion rings.  Still over at Woody’s, Brad Mason was the winner of the Metallica Fly-Away to Puerto Rico.  After that everyone headed back to St. Thomas to go over to Shipwreck Tavern at 10PM to rip up the dance floor and drink some more Coors Light.  The big winner of the night scoring a pair of Metallica tickets there was Cory Siegferth.  Over at Lost Dog Pub on St. Croix, a great party was had as far as turnout and response from the community.  Everyone was there for the big drawing, where the Metallica Fly Away winner was Sammual Lopez.   All in all, a productive weekend with give-a-ways, drinking, and all the winners pumped to get the VIP treatment to see Metallica on Sunday March 14^th.
